Provoste fue el mejor de ese equipo y, si bien no sacó pasajes para el Mundial, sí lo hizo para Manchester. Tras el Sub 17, que clasificó al Mundial de la categoría, jugó su primer Superclásico y luego, en octubre, fue hasta la Copa del Mundo de India. En enero de 2018 fue campeón de la Supercopa, su último título en Colo Colo. Luego fue parte de la debacle alba que terminó con su casi descenso en la temporada 2020 que terminó en 2021. Saltó a la cancha en doce oportunidades y junto a Williams Alarcón fue blanco de varias críticas por no asumir roles más protagónicos. Apenas rozaban los 20 años. Ambos, promesas en juveniles, ya no son parte del club. Con 23 años pertenece al plantel de Ñublense. Desde Chillán sigue la campaña del Manchester City, su “exclub”.
