La dirigencia de O’Higgins ya elevó una solicitud a la Municipalidad de Rancagua para que Universidad de Chile no vuelva a hacer nunca más de local en Rancagua luego que algunos hinchas vandalizaran el monumento a los 16 rancagüinos fallecidos en 2013 tras un viaje para jugar ante Huachipato en Talcahuano. En Valparaíso, el otro estadio donde hizo de local en 2021, no gustó lo “mucho que juega” el viento.
